GENESIS 9: 11-17
Sometimes we need to remember. Today's text is scripture that reminds us to remember. Noah and his family had made it through the worldwide flood. God makes a covenant between Noah and the world that he would never destroy this world again with water. This bow that verse 13 is talking about is the rainbow. Each time you and i look at a rainbow in the sky remember God always keeps his promises.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord thank you for being a God that always keeps promises.

LUKE 5: 27-32
I love today's text. The scribes and pharisees did not get it. They were upset that jesus Was having a meal with sinners. They missed the point as to why he came. Jesus didn't come for the righteous person, Jesus came for the poor, old, sin sick person. When you think about it the Bible declares that we are all sinners. Therefore I believe that Jesus came for all of us. I don't know about you but I sure do need him today.

PSALM 33:12
I know that we have shared this verse before but I believe we need to share it again. I don't know about you but I love this nation. I know that America has a lot of problems but God has blessed this nation beyond measure over the years period America needs God today more than ever but don't give up on her period let's thank God for our nation and let's pray for her today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for blessing America. I pray you would bless her today with revival and a spiritual awakening more than ever before.

I CORINTHIANS 1: 10
The church belongs to the Lord. We have the same mission, to share the gospel, to grow the children of God closer to the Lord and to worship God. Churches are not nor should be in a competition with each other period our mission, our work should be the same. Today's scripture reminds us that we should speak the same thing and that there should be no division. It is an honor to be a part of the New Testament search.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for my church family. Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a part of your church.

PSALM 146: 1-6
How about we just spend some time praising the Lord today. I love verse #2, while I live will I praise the Lord. The Lord is worthy of our praise. I really believe that we could never praise the Lord too much. I love how these verses remind us that we are not to put trust in anyone else but the Lord. So on this day let's spend more time praising the Lord than complaining.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord I just want to praise you. Thank you for your grace, your mercy and your saving power.

MATTHEW 17: 14-21
The Lord can do anything. Today's text reminds us that unbelief will keep you and I from having the power of God on our lives. Verse 20 tells us that the faith as a grain of mustard seed can move mountains. Just thank, if you and I had great faith, faith that did not doubt the Lord think what we could do for the Lord on this earth.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me grow closer to you. Help my unbelief to become a stronger belief in you today.

EXODUS 14: 13 & 28
Today scripture shows US1 very important lesson. God is a God of his word. Verse 13 tells us the children of God are told that the Egyptians that troubled them will not be seen anymore after this day. Verse 28 tells us that God kept his word. Notice the last line of this verse, there remained not so much was one of them. The message when God tells us that he will do something you can believe it.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me daily to put away worry. Remind me daily that you can be trusted.

ACTS 1: 9-11
I know that you get tired of hearing me say this but I love this scripture. The text will show us how that Jesus ascended back into heaven after his resurrection. But notice verse 11, the heavenly visitors said this same Jew will come again. This same Jesus. Do you know what that means? That the Lord Jesus never changes. The Bible says in the book of Hebrews Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever. This same Jesus will come back one day. Wow, what a savior.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for never changing.

PROVERBS 11: 30
Today scripture reminds me who a wise person is. The world thinks of a wise person as one with a lot of education period one that has a lot of friends or a lot of money. But the truth is a wise person and this is a person who is wise in the eyes of the Lord, is one who led a person to Jesus Christ. Think about that. The best and most wise decision that you and I could make today is to win a soul to Jesus.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord please use me today to lead others to you.

ROMANS 5: 1-8
Verse #8 in today's reading is one of my favorite verses in all of the Bible. The word reminds us here that while we were yet sinners, in other words God sent his son to die for us even though he knew how bad we were going to be and how unworthy we were going to be. That friends is real love.

EZEKIEL 13: 1-8
Today scripture is God speaking to the prophets and the preachers of many years ago. The Lord told Ezekiel to tell these prophets that they had lied and not spoken for him. The Lord told Ezekiel that because of this God was against them. Friends we had better be praying for the preachers of today. If God has called that man to preach the word let's pray he will do just that.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord please guide and direct the preachers that you have called today to preach your word.

HEBREWS 9: 18-22
Friends today's verses always remind us of the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Verse #22 here tells us that without the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ there would not be forgiveness sin, no remission. Someone had to die and shed blood because of that sin. That someone was Jesus Christ. I know that I say this a lot but what a savior we serve.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Jesus for what you did on that cross.

GENESIS 12: 2-3
I know that we have shared this scripture before but with a lot of people around us today, even in our own nation, standing against Israel I think that we need to hear it again. America had better stand with God's people no matter what the news or the politicians or the religious people say. We had better stand with Israel anyway. If America does not stand with Israel we will fall.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord please bless Israel today and please help America to stand with her daily.

ROMANS 12: 1-2
Today's scripture tells you and I that we owe the Lord our all. Notice in verse one it tells us to present your body's as a living sacrifice. That means that the Lord, after giving us life, after dying on the cross for us, after saving our soul, we owe him our very beings. The Bible declares us born again, blood bought children of God. We are bought with a price. That price is that precious blood. Verse 2 here reminds us to stay close to the Lord and do not let the world change us.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord thank you for all that you have done for me. I owe you everything Lord.

ISAIAH 55: 8-9
Every now and then we must be reminded as to who God is. The text reminds us today that his thoughts are far above our thoughts. He knows all things. Nothing takes him by surprise. His ways are not our ways. He is holy. He is sinless. Remember this, you and I should never try to put our wisdom against God's wisdom. Many in this world have tried, maybe that is why the earth is in the mess that it is in today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me to always seek your wisdom and remind me Lord daily that there is none wiser than you.

MATTHEW 24: 36-44
Jesus is coming. Today's reading is a little long but powerful. The Lord reminds us that he is coming back. The scripture reminds us that we may not know the date or the month or the year but Jesus is coming. As you read this text today notice the signs. Jesus is coming. Share that message with someone that you cross paths with today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Come quickly Lord Jesus!!

DEUTERONOMY 11: 1-7
Today's text has a theme. As God's people you should know better. Notice in verse one the Lord reminds his people that God expects them to behave and to keep his word. The Lord reminds his people here that he is not speaking with their children, who are not around and did see the work of God. But he is speaking to them, his people, who have seen the works of God. Verse 7 reminds them and us we have seen what our God can do. Therefore we had better behave.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord let me be mindful today of the works that you have done in my life.

REVELATION 21: 21-27
Let's stop today and just think about the place of heaven. Today scripture tells us of the beauty of the gates to the place being a place to worship God. It tells us about the glory of God being the light of the city. Verse 23 tells us about the gates never closing at night because there will be no night there. The Bible tells us that nothing bad will enter that city. I don't know about you but I am looking forward to this place.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord thank you for the city of God that you have prepared for the family of God.

PSALM 95: 1-6
Let's spend some time today praising the Lord. The Bible here tells us to praise the Lord in song. These verses tell us as to why we should praise the Lord. Because he is a great God. Because he is the creator of all things. I love verse 6, we are told to worship the Lord. This is good scripture to start this day with off.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord you are worthy of our praise. I want to praise you today.

MATTHEW 6: 25-34
Do you ever worry about things? Today's text tells us that worry does not fix anything. The Lord gives us examples of things in this world that do not worry. Verse 26 reminds us that birds don't worry. They know that God will care for them. Verse 28 tells us that the lilies of the field do not worry. They know that God will take care of them. The text even tells us that worry does not help us mature at all. The point is this, if I practice verse 33 here put the Lord first, everything else will fall into place.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me to remember today that you are in control and not to worry.

PROVERBS 12: 17
Have you ever been tempted to tell a lie? If you are honest you must admit that we have all either lied or been tempted to tell a lie before. But the Bible here teaches that if I will tell or speak the truth my life will show that I am headed in the right direction, the way of righteousness. Friends let's strive today to always tell the truth. Even when others don't like it.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Help me Lord to always tell the truth. 6/22/26
ROMANS 8: 28
I know that we have shared this text before but the Lord put on my heart that someone needed to hear it today. No matter what you and I are facing today the Lord can and will get us through it and remember this, the Lord will turn this trial into a blessing to others. So today no matter what you are facing remember to look to the Lord. He has got this.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me today that you are in control not whatever I may be facing.

PSALM 34: 15-17
The Bible tells us today that the Lord is watching over those that are trying to live right. Notice in verse 15 it tells us that he hears their cries. But notice the warning that the Lord is against those that don't live right. Friends the point is this, God's will reward righteous living.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help to guide me, direct me in my life so that I may always live for you daily.

HEBREWS 1: 3
Today's text does not need much explaining. If a person will reject God's plan of salvation, God's plan to get saved, Jesus Christ, the way the truth and the life, we will answer to God and end up in a devil's hell. This message is short but to the point. Share this message with someone today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord used me to lead someone to the saving power of Jesus today.

I SAMUEL 2: 2-3
OK, today's reading is short but powerful. God is holy. There is no one, nobody anywhere that is like him. Almighty God is our rock today. I love verse #3 here when a person is serving the Lord that person must watch their tongue. You see we have nothing to boast of but what the Lord has done for us. The last part of this verse reminds us that God is wise. Trust in his wisdom today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord I acknowledge your holiness and your wisdom today.

ACTS 13: 52
OK, here's the question for today. Are you filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost? Here is something to think about. No one can give this type of joy that the Bible is talking about here except the Holy Ghost. Let's stop looking for joy in this old world from money, from the government, from religion. Remember joy comes from knowing the Lord and being filled with the Holy Ghost.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for giving me joy unspeakable. Joy that this world can never understand.

GENESIS 19: 17-26 Today's text teaches you and I that God means what he says. God told Lot and his family not to look back when leaving the sin cities. Notice in verse 17 that people today are used to hearing people make false promises and threats. But God means what he says. Notice verse 26, Lots wife did disobey God and she paid with her life. The lesson? Listen to the Lord, he means what he says.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me to always be obedient to your word.

MATTHEW 28: 18-20
Today scripture is known as the Great Commission. I really believe that we need to be reminded of the mission that the Lord gave you and I. The Bible here teaches that we are to share the gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere. Notice the Lord's promise to you and I in verse 20. I am with you always. Let's share the gospel with someone today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord give me directions and grace to share the gospel message with someone today.

PSALM 40: 1-3
OK, I have to admit that I love this text. I have shared this before but just maybe somebody needs to hear this today again. Wait patiently for the Lord and he will hear me. He will deliver me. And he will bless me beyond belief. Wait upon the Lord and God will bless.

I JOHN 4:19
Good scripture to end the month with period keep this in mind, the Lord loved you and me before we were born. He knew how we would behave yet he loved us and died for us anyway. That is real love. Share Jesus with someone today.
