NUMBERS 22: 22-34
As we begin the new month in the word today’s reading may be a bit long but very powerful. There are two powerful messages in the text. First, God was very angry at Balaam! Verse 22 tells us that Gods anger was kindled because he went. Friends, lets pray daily that we stay in the center of the will of God and never cause God to be angry at us! Second, notice that God can use whatever He chooses to get our attention. God caused Balaam’s donkey to speak. Some say this is impossible-animals can’t talk! God is God-He can use what He wants to get our attention.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord, please always help me to stay in your will and help me to not go to a place in my life that you will be angry with me!

MARK 10: 13-16
Todays scripture reminds us how much that children mean to the Lord. Jesus rebuked the disciples from having the children come to Him. Did you catch the message from the Lord in verse 15? If a person does not come to the Lord in child like faith, that person will not get into heaven! Notice in verse 16 Jesus hugged them and blessed them. We had better thank God for our children today and love them.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord please protect and bless our children today.
2/3/26
PSALM 46: 10
Today's text is short but powerful. The Bible declares in the book of Ecclesiastes that there is a time to talk. The Bible here tells us there is also a time to be still and know who God is and that he is there. Sometimes we are so busy that we fail to stop and remember that he is near and that he is still in control.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord thank you for your presence and for always being near.

ACTS 8: 26-39
Today's scripture reminds us to be ready to listen to the call of the Lord at any time period verse 26 and verse 29 tells of the Lord speaking to Philip and telling him the direction that God wants him to go and the mission that he wants Philip to fulfill. As a result a man comes to accept Jesus Christ as his savior. The Bible also teaches here that as a result of Philip listening to the Lord he gets to baptize the man also. Today's point listen to the Lord's call and obey him today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord please guide and direct me today!

ISAIAH 59: 1-2
In today's text we are given 2 messages from the Lord. First verse one tells us that the Lord can save and that he can hear our call. Verse 2 reminds us that sin separates a person from God. That message is one that you and I need it to be reminded of daily. You see if you and I are saved today by trusting Jesus Christ God's only son and the blood of the lamb that is great. But remember the Lord saved our soul not our flesh. Let's stay as close to the Lord and away from sin as we can every day.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord, please draw me nearer to you today so that I can stay away from sin.

LUKE 21: 1-4
I know that I say this a lot but I love today's scripture. As Jesus watched and observed people casting their gifts in the treasury. I want you to notice a couple of truths today. First the Lord knows how much a person has in the bank when they give to the Lord's work Jesus said of the rich men they have of their abundance cast in the offerings of God. In other words they did not give all they have but some. Second Jesus knows when a person puts God's work before the bank account. For the Lord says she of her penny hath cast in all the living that she had period this woman gave everything that she had to the Lord. Now the Lord wants us to know that he knows our hearts and intentions.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord, help me to please you by doing your will today above anything and anyone else!
2/7/26
PSALM 105: 1-5
On this day let's spend some time being thankful to the Lord. The Bible reminds us today that thanking the Lord means telling others about what he has done for us. To thank the Lord we are also told to praise him in song and to praise him for his wondrous works. I love verse four and five the word gives us two principles to live by. We are to serve the Lord and to remember his works let's spend some time today thanking the Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord, I just want to thank you today for being so good to me!

REVELATION 1: 12-15
On this eighth day of February let's stop and take a look at the risen savior. As you read these verses let the word of God speak to your mind and heart of this picture of our Lord. We are told in verse 13 that Jesus the son of man what he is wearing, a garment down to the foot, notice a golden girdle. In verse 14 it tells us of his hair and eyes, verse 15 tells us of his feet and his voice. Remember get this picture in your mind and soul today. One of these days we will see and be in the very presence of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord, how I look forward to seeing you face to face one of these days.
2/9/26
GENESIS 1: 26-27
Every now and then it is good to remember where you and I come from. The whole world needs to hear the message especially in these days. The Bible declares here God made us. Notice the first part of this verse, let us make man, who was God talking to? The Trinity which is God the father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. Notice he gave man a mission, to have dominion over the fish, the birds, the cattle and over all the earth. Verse 27 reminds us that God made people in two forms, male and female. Share this scripture with someone today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Thank you Lord for the gift of life. Lord we would not be alive if you had not made us. Thank you Lord.   2/10/26
ACTS 1: 9-11
As the book of acts begins, the risen savior is about to ascend back to heaven. Earlier in this chapter he tells his followers about receiving the Holy Ghost. I want us to notice as Jesus is taken up in verse 9 2 angels appear in verse 10 to give a message to his followers there and to you and I today. That message is found in verse 11. This same Jesus is coming back. Think about that message for a minute. This same Jesus. The Lord never changes, he never breaks a promise. He is coming again to get those that trust him as savior. No matter what you are facing today, remember this if you are trusting Jesus he is going to come get you and I one of these days so that we can be with him in heaven.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord remind me daily to stop looking at this world or my burdens. Remind me to look for your soon return.         2/11/26
DEUTERONOMY 30: 15-20
Today's text is about choices. God has given the people the choice between life and death. God still offers the same choice to people today. Through Jesus Christ, God's son, God wants mankind to choose life, to choose to serve almighty God. Notice something here, God wants man to serve him. Verse 16 points out God wants man to serve him because he wants to. Verse 19 tells us what will happen if we do not serve him. Let's make the right choice.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord help me to always desire to serve you with all my heart.
2/12/26
MATTHEW 10: 28
Today's scripture reminds us not to fear man. The worst thing that a person could do to you and I is to kill our body. Think about that. You say that is bad but another person cannot cast our soul into heaven or hell. Man has no control over another person's soul. The Lord reminds us in this verse we had better fear God who can condemn the soul to the place of hell. We had better fear God instead of man.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord, help me never to fear man.
2/13/26
MATTHEW 16: 24-26
Sometimes we need to stop and remember the worth of a soul. The Bible reminds us here with the words of our savior just keep doing what you're doing take coffee and just minutes away that too fear the whole world and lose the soul is a very bad thing period remember this, this world will pass away someday, the soul will not. It will live forever in heaven or hell.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord remind me today that there is nothing more valuable in the whole world than the soul.
2/14/26
RUTH 2: 10-15
Many see this passage of scripture as a great love story. Boaz had found favor in Ruth. Therefore he treated her with kindness. Many in our world today do not know what real love is anymore. Some viewed love as a physical relationship. Some see love as a way to get others to serve them. If you do what I want, I will love you. If not I won't love you. On this Valentine's Day, remember real love is found in the greatest love story ever told. John 3 verse 16 -for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son period now that is true love.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
:  Lord help me to always look to you for the meaning of what real love is.
2/15/26
EZEKIEL 41: 1-6
In today's text we are shown the measurements of the temple that the Lord shared with Ezekiel. Take notice in these verses that when the Lord builds something it will be perfect. Every inch of the building will be just right so that it all fits together. The point, let the Lord guide and direct in our lives, let him build because if the Lord does the building it will be done right.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Remind me daily Lord that I cannot do anything without you!
2/16/26
JOHN 19: 1-5
Every now and then we need to remember what our savior went through for you and me. As you read this text today, remember Jesus had not sinned, he had not done anything but good. He had healed the sick, he had raised the dead. The pain and the suffering that he endured was for you and I. Remember, Jesus took all this pain for our sins. What a savior we serve.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Thank you Lord for all that you have done for me. Thank you Lord for dying for me.
2/17/26
EXODUS 14: 13-14
Someone needs this scripture today. Moses has led the people from Egypt and away from pharaoh, now the Red Sea is in front of them and Pharaohs Chariots are behind them. God is getting ready to part the Red Sea to allow his people to get away from the Chariots and pharaoh. Verse 14 reminds us if we trust the Lord he will fight for us. This world can be a scary place. Whatever you are facing today, remember, the Lord will take care of his people if we trust him.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me to get out of the way and let you handle my battles today.
2/18/26
I PETER 4: 17-18
Judgment must begin at the House of God. Notice here God will bring judgment on people and on this old world, but notice God will judge his people first period remember this, God is a loving God, he is a merciful God, but he is a God of judgment. God will bring his judgment on those who sin no matter who they happen to be. With this in mind, let's try to live as close to the Lord as we can today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Help me Lord to live as close to you and your will as I can.
2/19/26
JAMES 3: 10
Have you ever had a tongue problem? I mean has there ever been a time when you said something that you really wish that you had not said? The Bible reminds us in this text that almighty God warns us, through Jesus, about the power of the tongue. Think about it. The tongue is one of the smallest members of our body yet it can praise God or cause great harm. Let's remember this today and try always to have our tongues under control before this world and before the Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord help me to keep my tongue under control period please always guide and direct my every word.
2/20/26
JOB 14: 1
Today's verse is short but powerful. Everybody who is born of a woman, and all of us fit into that category, we'll have a few days on this earth and we will have troubles. Many believe that after a person gets saved, after a person trusts Jesus Christ as savior, after a person is born again there will be no more troubles. The Bible teaches here that is not true. This world offers troubles. This world offers heartache, but the Lord will never leave or forsake those that trust him. So don't think it's strange that troubles come your way today. Trust the Lord and always stay close to him and walk with him daily.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:

EPHESIANS 2: 1-7
Today’s scripture takes you and I back and reminds us how good God has been to us. The word of God in these verses shows us how that the power of God has made a major change in our lives as a born again child of God in Jesus Christ. Notice verse 4 tells us but God has changed us. Verse 5 reminds us that when we were dead in our sins, Christ has raised us up by his blood and given us new life. Every now and then it is good just to stop and realize what the Lord has done in our lives.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Lord never let me forget the things you have brought me through and the change that you have made in my world.
2/22/26
PROVERBS 6: 16-19
Today's text reminds us that there are some things that God strongly dislikes. As a matter of fact, the Bible says that God hates. As you go down the list notice each of these items are parts of our bodies. The tongue, hands, heart, feet, to name a few. But notice in verse 19 the Lord has one person that he cannot stand, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Let's be careful never to offend the Lord with any of these offenses and especially the last one period I don't know about you but I don't want God mad at me.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Help me Lord to live in a way where I will never offend you.
2/23/26
EHESIANS 4: 11-15
Today, let's once again go into the book of Ephesians and see why God gave us leaders with different gifts and talents but each one given the same purpose in mind. That we as the family of God may grow closer to the Lord and may grow strong in the word and the grace of God and may know what is really the word of God and what is not. The Bible here teaches that God gives us the pastor and the teachers the evangelist so that we will not be like children but that we might be grown up. Am I growing up in the Lord and the word today? Do some spiritual testing and see if we are growing in the Lord today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Help me Lord to grow in your power and in your word today.
2/24/26
PROVERBS 27: 1-2
Very simple message in today's scripture. First, don't brag about what I'm going to do today. Second don't brag or boast on the good things we have done. Remember, God knows our good deeds, God knows the good things that we have done for others. Instead of bragging today about what we have done, let's spend the time praising the Lord for what he has done for us.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord remind me to praise you instead of boasting about myself.
2/25/26
REVELATION 22: 1-2
Today let's take a look at the city of God, the place of heaven. In verse one the pure river represents the Holy Ghost of God coming out of the throne. Take note this river is clear as crystal. In verse 2 we see the tree of life, the curse is gone. The trees bear 12 different fruits. The trees yield 12 different fruits. Just let the text speak to your heart. Heaven will be a beautiful place.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Thank you Lord for the opportunity through the blood of Jesus Christ to be able to go into the city of God.
2/26/26
PSALM 117 1-2
The Lord is worthy of our praise. In this short reading the Bible reminds us that all nations, all people should be praising the Lord. Verse 2 tells us why we should be praising the Lord. Because of his mercy and kindness and because of his truth. Spend some time on this day praising the Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord I want to praise you this day. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being so good to me and for meeting my every need.
2/27/26
MATTHEW 7: 13-14
As you read our text for today, I have one question. What road am I on today? The Bible plainly states that there are two roads. The end of the two roads is real, one leads to heaven through the blood of Jesus Christ our savior. It is called the strait gate. The other leads to hell. This road is wide and has plenty of room but it leads to a devil's hell. Please, please, please make sure I am on the right road today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord keep my feet on the right path today.
2/28/26
PROVERBS 29: 18
I know in times past we have looked at this text before. But it is well worth looking at again on this last day of February. Make sure that I have a vision for the Lord this year and make sure that vision includes following the leadership of the Holy Ghost each day of this year and make sure that it includes telling as many people as I can about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:  Lord help me this year to keep my focus on you.
