I SAMUEL 12:24
Today’s text tells us what God expects of us! “Only for the Lord” means to respect or have reverence for the Lord. God expects us to serve him and the Lord expects us to remember what he has done for us. This verse sounds lie a good way to start our day every day-by being ready to serve the Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord, help me daily to keep my heart and soul on you!
3/2/26
MARK 10: 13-16
As you read today’s verses, take note as to how precious children are to the Lord! Verse 13 tell us that the disciples tried to turn the children away but that displeased the Lord. The truth is, unless we become like one of these little children and have child like faith in the Lord, we cant go to heaven! We must accept the Lord and believe upon the Lord as a little child would or we cant be saved!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord, help me to have child like faith every day to trust you!
3/3/26
II Kings 20: 1-6
In today’s text we learn that God does answer prayers. Hezekiah here had been told to “set thine house in order” because he was going to die. Hezekiah cried out to God to please give him more time. In verses 5 and 6 the Bible declares that God does answer prayer. God saw his tears and gave hm 15 more years to live! The point- God answers prayers! Don’t stop praying! Don’t stop looking to the Lord! Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but God still answers prayers! Keep praying!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord, please hear my prayer! Remind me daily to trust you!

MATTHEW 4: 23-25
Jesus had a work to do. The father had sent him to preach the gospel period to heal the sick and down hearted. To die and shed that powerful blood of his for you and I. I had a young preacher say to me a while back that we needed to do more teaching than preaching today. But notice in verse 23 here Jesus went about preaching the gospel. This tells me that we need more preaching of the word today than we do teaching. There is a difference. Let's pray for the preachers of today to preach the gospel.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help our God called preachers of the gospel today to preach the gospel stronger than ever before. 3/5/26
PSALM 134: 1-3
Today's text is short but powerful. The word bless in verse one here means make holy. We should put the Lord in our hearts, our souls, our bodies every day in a place where he is holy. We should worship the Lord daily. Notice why we should put him in that holy spot and why we should worship him every day. Verse 3 tells us because he had made heaven and earth. He is our creator. The Lord deserves our worship. PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord I want to praise and worship you today.
3/6/26
ACTS 2: 42-47
Today's scripture is all about the New Testament church. The church was newly born and it was on fire for the Lord. The apostles were the pastors of the church. As you read today scripture notice that they were in one accord. They were faithful to the word. Notice that they were excited about serving the Lord. Verse 47 tells us that as they praise the Lord, the Lord saved souls and add it to them. Maybe we should take notice and practice this today before the Lord. Remember, the Lord really blessed this church.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord bless our church every day and add unto it as we praise you.

PROVERBS 29: 25
Today's text reminds us that we need to be careful how we put our trust and respect in man. This verse also reminds us that we should trust the Lord. Why? Because he is the one that can keep us safe. Today if you are dealing with stuff, stop looking to man and look to God. The Lord is the one that can deliver and keep us safe. PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me not to put trust in man but in God.
3/8/26
ROMANS 3: 23
Today's verse reminds us of an important truth. We are all sinners. Not one of us today can claim that we are pure and without sin before the Lord. This is a reminder we all need Jesus. We all need that soul saving power in the blood of the lamb. Without Jesus we will end up in a devil's hell because of our sin. We need Jesus.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for dying for an old Sinner like me. And thank you for saving an old Sinner like me.
3/9/26
GENESIS 6: 13-18
Today's text reminds us that God is a God of judgment. It has been said that God in the Old Testament was mean and full of judgment and that God in the New Testament was kind and full of grace. Well, anybody who thinks that needs to read the Book of Revelation. God is love, God is merciful, God is kind but God is a God of justice. God does not let man get away with man. God has not nor does he ever change. PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me to live my life in a way that is pleasing to you.
3/10/26
JOHN 1: 11-14
I love these verses about our savior. Verse 11 reminds us Jesus was a Jew. He came to save them but they rejected him. Verse 12 tells us that he will save anybody. I love verse 14. We beheld his glory and the glory as of the only begotten of the father. Friends, if you know the living word today. If you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. You have got something to praise God about. What a savior.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Today Lord I just want to praise you for who you are.
3/11/26
PSALM 37: 3-8
Today’s scripture offers us some good principles to face the day with. Verse 3- trust in the Lord and do good. Verse 4- delight thyself in the Lord. Verse 5- commit thy way unto the Lord. Verse 7-rest in the Lord. And verse 8-cease from anger. When you read these verses today, think about these as good words to live by and to practice each day!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Help me Lord to live by your word today!
3/12/26
REVELATION 2: 1-7
I love the Book of Revelation. You may have heard me say that before. In today's text we have the Lord talking to one of the churches in Asia minor. Notice as you read these verses that the Lord cared for the church. The Lord tells the church that he knows their works. The Lord tells the church in verse three that he knows about their patience and their labor for him. But notice in verse four that he has a problem with them. Thou hast left thy first love. That first love here is the love for almighty God. In other words, all the work, all the good deeds, does not mean anything. If the Lord God is not first in our lives, nothing else matters. The message, let's never get so busy doing God's work that we don't keep the Lord first in our lives. PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me to always put you first in everything that I do. Even in church work may I always have you first period

DANIEL 6: 22-23
Have you ever felt like you were right in the middle of the lion's den? I mean the lions are licking their chops just sitting in front of you waiting to take a bite out of you. The lions are ready to attack and devour you at any moment. Maybe you feel like that today. Well, notice in verse 22 that God knows how to handle the lions. The Bible declares God's Angel hath shut the lion's mouth. Now think about that a second. A lion would have a hard time eating you or me if that lion cannot open his mouth. If you are in the lions den, trust the Lord. The Lord can still shut those mouths today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me to trust you even when the lions are attacking.

II CORINTHIANS 11: 1-3
Someone came to me as a pastor a while back and said when I started coming to church at victory someone said are you following that pastor or are you following the Lord? The person was told you don't follow the pastor that's a man. But notice what Paul told the church at Corinth. Be ye followers of me even as I also am of Christ. In other words as I follow Christ, follow me. Did notice this reminds us that the head of every man, that is the born again saved man is Christ. Following the leadership of the pastor if he is under the leadership of the Holy Ghost is not a bad thing. Let us both keep our focus on the Lord and we will not go wrong.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Help me Lord to always lead others to you in my actions, in my speech, and in my walk.
3/15/26
PSALM 105: 1-4
Today, let's just spend some time giving thanks to the Lord. The Bible here tells us how to do this. First share the gospel. What he has done for us. Second seeing psalms unto him. Which means to sing praises to him. Worship the Lord. That is the meaning of that word glory. Seeing in his holy name. Then lastly, looked to the Lord. For strength, seek him forever. That's how we should spend time thanking the Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord I just want to thank you today for being who you are. My creator. My deliverer. My Savior. My everything. Thank you Lord.
3/16/26
MATTHEW 18: 18-20
In today's scripture we are reminded there is power from the Lord when God's people come together. This is the very reason that the devil, the enemy, does not like it when the church comes together. Verse 19 here tells us that when God's people agree on earth that the father in heaven will do a mighty work period verse 20 even reminds us that when two or three meet the Lord will be in the midst. There is power when the Lord's people come together. There is power when the church comes together.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for the power of God upon the church.

I SAMUEL 6: 19-20
Today's text is dealing with consequences. When God says don't do something he means it. The Lord had told the people, the men, not to look into the ark of the covenant. Men disobeyed and as a result they died. The people were very upset because God destroyed the men for disobedience. But God means what he says. Have you ever heard someone displeased with a child and tell that child if you do not listen to me there will be consequences. But then the child disobeys and the parents don't carry through. No consequences happen. That's not the Lord. God is a God of his word.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me that you are a God that means all that you say.
3/18/26
HEBREWS 13: 8
I know that we have shared this verse before. But in a world where not many people are the same on a daily basis it is sure good to know that we are serving a Lord that never changes. Jesus, according to the word of God, is the same all the time period our Lord never changes. Our Lord is never in a bad mood. Our Lord unlike this world is the same all the time.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for being the never changing God.
3/19/26
EXODUS 14: 21-31
As you read these verses today just think about the power of God in these verses. Almighty God parted the Red Sea right in front of the children of Israel. Every time I read this text I stop and think no matter what my problems, what my burden is today, God has the power to get me through it. Whatever is bothering you today remember that God is more powerful.
PRRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me that by your might, by your power, I can as your child get through anything.
3/20/26
MATTHEW 9: 32-34
Yesterday we talked about the power of God in the Old Testament. Today we are looking at the power of God in the New Testament. Jesus had the power to cast out demons. Notice the reaction of the demons being cast out from the Pharisees, or the religious leaders. They said that Jesus cast out the demons through the power of the devil. How crazy is that. The devil would cast out his own? Jesus reminds us in Matthew 28 that all power has been given unto him. Jesus has the power to handle the devil today.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me that you have all power to protect your children.
3/21/26
LUKE 5: 27-32
I love today's scripture. Jesus called Levi (Matthew) and Levi made him a meal. Other publicans or tax collectors came. This really upset the religious leaders. They said why do you eat with sinners? Jesus told them that he came for the sins of the sick. The Lord told them and reminds us that Jesus didn't come for the whole or the well, but Jesus came for the sin of the sick. What a savior.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins. 3/22/26
PSALM 118: 8
Today I am going to share a message that the Lord gave me years ago on this verse. Why does the Bible state it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. 1-Because the Lord is the only one that is the same all the time (Hebrews 13:8). 2-because the Lord is the only one that can keep me safe (Psalm 23:4). 3- because the Lord is the only one that can satisfy my soul (Psalm 107:9). 4-because the Lord is the only one that can save my soul (Acts 4:12). PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord remind me to trust you more than man.
3/23/26
ROMANS 3: 8
I love this verse of scripture. I know that I say that a lot. But when you break this verse apart it will bless your heart. While knowing that we were sinners or God knowing that we were going to be centers Jesus died for us period now that is a blessing. God knew that we were bad but Jesus died for us anyway. What a savior.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord.
3/24/26
PROVERBS 3: 13
Here is the simple message from this verse, real wisdom is found in the Lord. Therefore real understanding comes when a person has asked God for wisdom (James 1:5). The point is the Lord can give more wisdom from this book, the Bible, than any other book or learning school in the world. If I need direction today seek the Bible and the Lord for that wisdom.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Help me Lord to get wisdom from your word on all that I don't understand today.
3/25/26
LUKE 6: 27-28
Today's text is not worldly wisdom. Think about it, the world teaches today that if someone is our enemy we are supposed to hate that person. The world tells us to curse the person that curses us. But Jesus tells us to love our enemies, to bless them that curse us And that use us. How do I do this? Trust in the Lord. Remember this, when I ask Jesus to save me and come into my heart Jesus gave me the Holy Ghost in my heart. That love comes from my heart which comes from the Lord. PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Help me Lord to love those that are my enemies. Help me to bless them.
3/26/26
ISAIAH 65: 17
I hear people often say that the old and New Testament contradict each other. That is not true. Today's verse is almost word for word hey a text found in revelation 21:1. Today scripture reminds us that the Bible is a perfect book. It does not contradict itself in the Bible can be trusted as the word of God. PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for giving us the Bible, the word of God, to guide our lives.
3/27/26
II TIMOTHY 4: 6-8
Have you ever looked back at your life and wondered what could be said about your life? Think about it. Could it be said that I was ready to die? Could it be said that I had fought a good fight? Could it be said that I have finished my course and that I have kept the faith? One day you and I will have to face death. Let's make sure today that we are living in a way that gives glory to the Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me Live Today in a way that will bring glory to you.
3/28/26
JEREMIAH 32: 27
Whatever you and I are facing today this verse should give us strength and hope that we can get through anything with the Lord in our lives. Notice the last line of this verse. Is there anything too hard for me? That means that God can get you and I through anything. Remember this, our God can do anything but fail.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Remind me Lord there is nothing that I can face today that you cannot get me through.
3/29/26
EPHESIANS 2: 1-7
Today's scripture reminds us from where the Lord has brought us from. I love verse one, you hath he quickened. God reminds us how that we walked with the devil in times past. But these verses remind us that God has done a work in Jesus Christ in our lives. Verse 7 reminds us what a difference Jesus makes in a life. Remember we are a new creature in Christ.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord Jesus for all that you have done for me.
3/30/26
DANIEL 1: 8
In today's text the Bible tells us that Daniel purposed in his heart or made-up his mind that he was going to do the right thing and please God and not man. The question is simple today. Have I made-up my mind that I will do what God wants me to do or what man wants me to do. Remember man's way may seem easier but God's way will be eternal.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord help me to always follow your leadership over man's.
3/31/26
I CORINTHIANS 1: 18
Let's end the month on this note. Be ready to share the message of the cross with anyone at any time period to the world the cross may be a foolish message but to us that are saved the cross is an eternal message.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Thank you Lord for the cross.
